From Brief to Brand: Visual Identity for Two Podcast Series
Two shows. Two different worlds. Both needed a visual identity that could carry their conversations further than audio alone. Future of Things (Blue Bite) covered connected products, blockchain, smart packaging, and the circular economy. Dear Workplace (InnovatorsBox) tackled creativity, leadership, and how professionals navigate change. Both were launching with no visual guidelines, no content system, and no existing assets. I built both from a brief: full brand guidelines, visual identity, and content systems designed to be handed off and run independently from day one.

My Approach
Before getting to the design work, I mapped out every format and platform each show needed to live in — accounting for team handoff and ease of use from the start.
For Future of Things, the show covered how technology was driving conversation across CPG, sustainability, blockchain, OOH, and beyond. The design translated that into an abstract visual language around tech and connectivity — rooted in the idea of using your phone to bridge the physical and digital. From there the system extended across podcast platforms, a full YouTube presence with edited episodes and social cutdowns, and promotional assets across social media.
Dear Workplace was built around a different question: can I be happier and more fulfilled at work? The identity drew from the everyday objects we all interact with at work and quietly stress about — your inbox, your calendar, a memo, a notification. Because the team needed to carry it forward independently, the deliverables went beyond visuals — a style guide, editable banners, and social templates they could own without a designer in the room.
Solution
Created visual identities and supporting content systems for both shows across audio, video, and social formats.
- Designed podcast branding, cover art, episode graphics, and promotional assets.
- Edited full-length YouTube episodes and short-form clips for Future of Things
- Added motion graphics, subtitles, and supporting visuals to improve clarity and engagement
- Built platform-ready assets for YouTube, podcast platforms, and social media
- Extended each show’s identity beyond static artwork into a more flexible content system
The focus was to turn spoken conversations into visual content people could discover, watch, and share.

Results
- Supported 2 podcast brands across video, audio, and social platforms
- Helped translate Future of Things into a cross-platform series with 9 podcast episodes and a dedicated YouTube playlist, plus a separate clips playlist.
